BBA (IBA) Admission Process
Admission to BBA at IBA is a two step process. Firstly, candidates have to sit for a written test and then those who are selected are invited to appear for viva test.
Candidates first sit for an admission test and are selected solely on the basis of their standing in the test. A candidate can appear for this test a number of times and break of study is also not a disqualification. Around 180 selected candidates go through a screening interview; roughly 65% of the selected candidates are offered a place finally.

The admission test has two modules-
Module 1 : Written Admission Test
Part 1 : MCQ [duration 90 mm.]: Part one has 3 sections – Mathematics (30 Q – SAT Standard), English Language and Communication (30 Q TOEFL/SAT standard), Aptitude and Analytical Ability (Puzzle solving, Data sufficiency & Critical Reasoning) – 15 Marks.
Part 2 : Written English [30 min.]: Free Writing, Translation, Sentence Correction etc – 25 Marks
Module 2 : Verbal Communication Assessment
Part 1 : Writing Assessment [15 min.]: Free writing
Part 2 : Interview [10-15 min]

BBA (IBA) Admission Requirements
* Letter grades of O’ & A’ level subjects are converted to grade points (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1). Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated by averaging the grade points of the 5 best grades for O’ Level and the 2 best grades for A’ Level. Please note that the O’ level subjects must include Mathematics.
** This is according to last year’s admission requirements and may change without prior notice.
*** For all other certificates, equivalence will be determined by the Equivalence Committee of IBA.

S@ifur’s BBA Admission Preparation Program
Our preparation program starts with English and Mathematics lessons. Each 2-hour class on alternate days begins with a class-test. A number of subject tests will assess progress every other week. 16 lesson-classes on English language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Skills) and 14 lesson-classes on Basic Mathematics Skills (Algebra, Arithmetic and Geometry) are held on alternate days. Students, once having acquired a level of Mathematics and English ability, are then introduced to the Analytical Ability build-up phase. A number of special Mathematics Tutorial Classes are offered to students with Commerce & Humanities background.
Approximately 40 lesson classes are followed by 14 practice tests & 6 full-length Model tests patterned after the real IBA admission test. Up to eight Solution classes and a number of additional prep-classes will give our students the best possible preparation for IBA Admission test. A series of Mock interview sessions are arranged for students who pass the written phase of the IBA admission screening.
